About the Speakers:
Our distinguished panel includes managers with a combined 24 years of offshore development and testing experience, including:
  • Patrick McGuinness, Project Manager, Physical Synthesis Technology, Advanced Tools, Motorola - 10 years managing offshore developers. Expert in integrating offshore teams within a large corporate environment.
  • Neil Golding, Vice President of Operations at SEILevel, first managed offshore teams in 2000 for a project at Compaq Computer Corporation. His ROI model for offshore development includes risk factors which account for known strengths and weaknesses of IT talent in various countries.
  • Stacey Berlow, president of Project Balance, has led teams in multiple countries on both large and small projects since 1998. She will explore project communication and process.
  • Steve Teleki, Vice President of Software Development at Y&L Consulting -- Will discuss his experiences teaching the Carnegie-Mellon Personal Software Process (PSP) to developers in the US, Eastern Europe, and India. He will also discuss the issue of recruiting successful offshore team managers.
  • Jeff Hotz, CEO of TESTCo, will describe how offshore testing differs from offshore development.
