Overview: This talk will provide you with internationalization awareness - and how you may wish to focus further personal and professional commitments. Emphasis is on Engineering, Quality Assurance and Technical Documentation About the Speaker: Brenda Hall is a co-founder Austin Test, Inc., a software quality assurance provider via the outsourcing model. Brenda has worked for Fortune 100 companies such as IBM, Compaq, Cirrus Logic and BMC software. She is responsible for supporting her customers from a business and program management perspective, and often acts as a consultant to help her customers create and integrate the various processes and deliverables that allow for outsourcing their quality assurance to her company. In addition, she is often called upon to help her customers strategically release worldwide products and services. Brenda is one of few experts in this region who is often called upon to help companies and academia alike to ensure the global aspects of creating quality software are in place. She is a member of the Board of Advisors for ACC's localization curriculum, and is also currently working to help globalize the curriculum at the McCombs School of Business at UT. Brenda holds a seat on the Board of Directors for the International Workshop for Internationalizing Products and Systems, the World Congress for Information Technology for Austin 2006 as well as being a member Camino Real District Export Council for the State of Texas. |
